Linda Dausend understands what makes a business successful and thrives on helping FlashPoint clients reach their strategic goals. As a consultant, she draws from years of managing a major department store and 400 employees. Through this experience, she learned that while having the right product, displaying it effectively, and promoting it well was integral for strong retail sales, the most important path to success was having effective, engaged, and productive people.
Linda applies this lesson every day at FlashPoint. She consults with clients on talent management, helping to align their human resources programs with organizational strategies. Her areas of focus include conducting job analyses, building and implementing recruitment strategies, developing talent, coaching, and designing performance management systems. Her business acumen enables her to help organizations identify causes for employee behaviors and find creative solutions that help drive business success. Linda’s greatest reward is witnessing individuals and work teams realizing the unlimited potential they possess so they can create their own successful future!
Before FlashPoint
Linda has worked on countless talent management initiatives, provided management and leadership development, facilitated one-on-one coaching, created comprehensive training programs, and managed human resource functions throughout her career. She’s held a variety of organizational development positions at well-known companies, including vice president of talent management at Employment Plus, organization development manager at Author Solutions, learning and development consultant at Sunrise Greetings (a subsidiary of Hallmark Greetings), director of training and development for integrated marketing at Simon Property Group, and vice president/store manager at Macy’s. Linda’s experience spans a broad range of industries and company cultures, giving her breadth to help organizations get results through a customized approach.

Interesting Facts about Linda
- Linda loves music and is involved in the Indianapolis based Encore Vocal Arts. She's always in the mood for karaoke.
- She enjoys the great outdoors! Linda is an avid runner, participating in several 5K runs a year (with no plans to run any farther), likes mountain biking, and is an active geocacher.
- She is proud of her “awesome” daughter, Taylor. As a recipient of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, Taylor attends the University of Evansville and continues to make her mom smile.
