Andrea Cranfill is passionate about human resources and has a gift for sharing her enthusiasm with others. When she joined with Krista Skidmore to found FlashPoint in 2002, she did so with a desire to help organizations improve their HR functions and their overall business processes and strategies. Andrea combines her experience as an HR practitioner and a consultant to build products and services that are practical yet innovative, proven yet forward-thinking.

Andrea specializes in the areas of strategic HR planning, organizational assessment and design, performance improvement, total rewards, and leadership and team development. Her in-depth knowledge of HR and business strategy, together with her strong analytical skills and practical approach, enable her to quickly diagnose problems and develop solutions. With Andrea’s guidance our clients have come to understand the power of HR, and with her support they have been able to connect HR initiatives to their overall business goals.

In her role as principal, Andrea oversees FlashPoint’s operations, grows relationships with clients, manages large-scale client accounts, and ensures that FlashPoint team members deliver outstanding customer service. Andrea’s goal is to make sure we always delight the people we work with, so she’s continually looking for ways we can work smarter and more creatively in order to better serve our clients!

Before FlashPoint
Andrea developed her broad human resource skills and perspective through a variety of HR roles at organizations such as the Indianapolis Life Insurance Company, SM&P Utility Resources, and Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to co-founding FlashPoint, she also ran her own HR consulting practice. Andrea served as an assistant director of admissions at Indianapolis’s Marian College before finding her passion for HR.

Interesting Facts about Andrea
Andrea is an avid runner; she has competed in 5 marathons and 15 half-marathons.
She and her husband, Stephen, were married in Japan in a traditional Shinto ceremony.
She has participated in Habitat for Humanity blitz builds in Houston and in South Africa, and in 2001 she helped organize Habitat’s 25th anniversary celebration in Indianapolis.
